DOLPHIN STADIUM DEBUT The University of Miami Hurricanes, minus their starting quarterback who's sitting out a one-game suspension, take on the Charleston Southern Buccaneers as they open their season at Dolphin Stadium.
Fans attending University of Miami games at Dolphin Stadium can expect more pregame entertainment, more comfortable seats, a wider selection of food and (unlike at the dearly departed Orange Bowl) the benefit of watching big plays a second time on one of the world's largest video replay boards.
The time has come. The move is done. Starting Thursday night, in the 2008 season opener against Charleston Southern, the experience of attending a Miami Hurricanes home football game will never be the same.
