    POMPANO BEACH, Fla., Dec. 28 (UPI) -- Eric Laakso, the Miami Dolphin's starting right tackle in Super Bowl XVII in 1983, was found dead in Pompano Beach, Fla., Christmas Night, authorities said.

    Former Miami Dolphins tackle Eric Laakso, a member of two Super Bowl teams in the 1980s, has died at age 54. Laakso, who had battled heart disease, was found dead at his home Saturday, the Broward Medical Examiner's Office said Monday. Laakso played at Tulane before being drafted by the Dolphins in 1978.
