  • Dolphin deaths drop dramatically

    Another dolphin has washed ashore, this time on the beach in Gulfport just west of Hewes Avenue. The adult female was about seven feet long and badly decomposed. This marks the 18th dolphin stranding in Mississippi this year, but that's far less than the 40 to 45 dead dolphins found during the same time last year.
