Team Fish Up/Boat Center weathered a bit of controversy to win $20,200 for the heaviest total of five dolphin -- 121.95 pounds -- in the SeaVee/Mercury Grove Slam Saturday.
BAIS CITY -- Mayor Hector Villanueva expressed fears over the decreasing number of dolphins in Taņon Strait. Villanueva feared they might lose their most treasured tourist attraction in Bais City. The city has been known for its dolphin watching over the years.

CLEARWATER Winter, an injured Atlantic bottlenose dolphin, has gained the ability to swim properly after being fitted with a prosthetic tail. Winter lost her tail after being caught in a crab trap in 2006 when she was two months old.
