A beloved attraction at the Vancouver Aquarium has died. Laverne, a 31-year-old Pacific white-sided dolphin, died Wednesday after battling an infection for the last month.
VANCOUVER - Laverne, a Pacific white-sided dolphin who entertained crowds for years at the Vancouver Aquarium, died Wednesday evening, according to Aquarium staff.
Laverne, a popular dolphin at the Vancouver Aquarium, died in the arms of her trainers on Wednesday afternoon. She was 31 years old.
