Dolphin Energy Limited has begun supplying gas to Oman, completing the strategic Qatar-UAE-Oman natural gas grid first proposed in 1999. Dolphin's gas is produced offshore of Qatar and then processed onshore at its Ras Laffan gas processing plant.

Dolphin Energy began supplying gas to Oman yesterday, completing the strategic Qatar-UAE-Oman natural gas grid first proposed in 1999. The company said gas from Qatar was now flowing to the sultanate for the first time as part of a 25-year gas sales agreement (GSA) signed in 2005.
